Installation of PA speaker on R25 mast

Getting around to installing a PA speaker to connect to my Standard Horizon radio as it has fog horn capabilities built into the radio. My concern is if I mount it above or below the radar dome, will I affect its a ability to function. Will activation the horn/PA interfere with a radar signal?

I mounted my hailer on the cabin roof. It seems to work well there. i can hear when people are talking and the broadcast sound is good for both hailing and the fog horn. Click the photo to see it in a larger size.
