Installing Garmin check valve to solve steering problem

Would you verify the correct way to install the Garmin check valve for my Ranger Tug CB 31. Garmin shows only three connections to the face of the distribution block on the pump in their install instructions and no connections off of the right angle face which is different than my set up. Can I simply remove the two far right steering lines off of the front face of the steering pump, connect those to the new check valve and insert two new short hoses to the pump? I’ve included a link of a photo of my current factory steering pump set up. Thanks!
