Have a question about insurance. We're getting ready to go to the Bahamas with three other Ranger Tugs from south Florida next week and I just found out we have a 75 mile off the US coast limit. I guess Progressive isn't so progressive after all! What have other Tug owners done to get coverage to go to the Abacos? Will BoatUS cover us? I will be calling Atlass in the morning and see if they will cover us, but looking for other ideas just in case those don't workout. Thanks

Most insurance companies have an option for you to buy a rider that is valid for The Bahamas for a specific time period. Hurricane season might be an issue or be expensive.

Good morning Tim and Donna. We have BoatUS and just received an email rider to cover us for the Bahamas trip. The cost was $150 and it is date specific. I just printed it out. We look forward to meeting you Sunday.

Thank you for all the great information. I talked to BoatUS today and ended up going with them. They're $300 a year less for much better coverage and it includes all the Bahamas down to the Turks. I knew I could get my question answered on Tugnuts!

Hi Brian: I've been trying to PM you about the trip, but it's not going through. Can you give me a call at your convenience? Thanks
