I have watched the spring maintenance video about restoring interior wood on a Ranger Tug and understand that some of the wood has Minwax Helmsman urethane and the rest of the wood is treated with Daly's Seafin teak oil.

Couple of questions about our 2024 RT 27 ob:
1) It appears that the Galley table and the wood in the head are treated with Minwax. Are any other interior wood treated with Minwax, or is all of the rest oiled?

2) The teak trim across the top of the galley cabinets is faded (the boat spent the first 6 months of her life in the dealer's Florida boat yard), and I am pretty sure this was originally finished with oil and that the teak oil needs to be reapplied. Is it possible to "convert" this strip of teak from oil to Minwax or is it a MAJOR undertaking to do so? My reason for considering this is because the urethane would provide better protection from water and food spills from the galley.

Thanks in advance
