Inverter Install

I am looking to install an inverter on Sea Dragon. Talking to Andrew on phone, it looks like the install would be easy enough on the port side where a generator could go. (I am looking at putting in a separate battery for the inverter, with a switch to the house batteries when the dedicated battery needs charging or more power required). Has anyone any experience with this? The simple solution of wiring into the same wires as the generator would be great, but have not seen the wiring diagram that would describe this solution.

I have the factory installed 1800 watt Xantrex inverter where Gen would normally go. I'll check to see how or what battery it's connected to when next onboard and post back... or you can ask Andrew what factory did for my R25 boat "Laxey" Owner Name: Barry Sharp. He should recall as it was done barely a month ago.

Let me work on finding some photos of my installs. Pretty easy install and I believe I have a parts list already made up for the inverter
