anyone know where inverter is mounted on a 2018 R27? I am looking to see if there is a reset button.
I get no power from inverter. I have used it several times in the past successfully. Remote switch is on. selector is turned to inverter and inverter breaker looks good. Batteries all read ok.
I see the charger and it works fine.

Matty,

I had the same problem with my 2016 R-27C this past summer when I got some water in the starboard aft lazarett during some rough weather and good halibut fishing and I think it shorted out the inverter which is located there. After removing the water and letting everything dry out, I used the manufacturers trouble shooting guide, found the reset button which is hard to see/find and successfully reset the inverter. It took several tries with the reset button, but when it finally reset I heard a click and humm and everything went back to normal.

Good luck getting thing reset.

Hi Matty,

The inverter is installed on the aft starboard wall of the 'cave'. Raise the rear seat to gain access to the electrical panel and remove the panel on the starboard side, below the electrical panel. The CB is actually a ground fault outlet you find in your home. It's difficult to access but using a cell phone take a couple of pictures looking around the corner, as you are looking at opening after removing the panel, facing the opening, the inverter is to your right, and it will make sense. Remove the cord that is plugged into the outlet and then reset it. You should see a green light on the outlet when power is restored. Then plug the cord back in. That should have things working again. I tripped the GND FAULT and then reset it and that did the trick. One other note, the outlet in mine was installed upside down so the reset button was opposite of say the Ground Fault outlet in the just right of the sink! Photo's taken will help with that issue also. Should be the same as my 2019 R27 OB.

Hope this helps

Mike

Thanks for the replies. Very helpful and detailed. I was looking at that panel earlier today thinking it had to be in there. I will attempt that fix tomorrow.
