I’m in the process of storing my R-25 for the winter. The boat is on a trailer and will be covered. Since the solar panel will be covered, I was planning to remove the negative battery terminals to prevent battery drain. It looks as if the solar charger has settings. Will disconnecting the battery wipe out the settings?
Thanks for any help to prevent issues in the spring.

The settings are all baked into the components. No issues there. Just make sure you follow the storage instructions and do not store at full charge.
Thanks. One less thing to think about in spring.

I do not disconnect. Put the boat to sleep by shutting everything down and pulling fuses. While stored/covered I simply charge the banks every few weeks to about 70% state of charge. Keeps them in the 40-70% SOC range. Gives me a chance to check on her every so often throughout the off season.
