Model 58500-1012 (control panel, not foot switch model). This unit came with new R-27 in February 2011. Had very little use, no solid disposal, and worked fine until the beginning of September. Fills but doesn't empty even though the flush pump motor sounds as though it is working. Checked the instruction manual and the ITT website, and talked with Andrew who hadn't come across this problem. Suspected items were the no-return valve and the flush pump. Took me a bit of time to locate these and it appears that the no-return valve is ok; I can push water away through it with a little (about 2 psi) positive pressure but suction pressure doesn't let any come back. The flush-pump impeller is just below the outlet of the bowl. I can turn it by hand but not with the pump motor. The ITT website says to 'check the set screw'. The only indication of a set screw I can see is a couple of very small (about 2mm diameter)recesses in the plastic hub of the impeller. Because of their angle you cannot see into them even with a dentist's mirror and feeling for a screw with an Allen key found only space. So:
1) Has anyone else had this problem (and if so how was it fixed)?
2) Can one get at the set screw(s) on the flush pump impeller without disassembling the head?
