Yesterday was spent at the the Jack London square boat show in Calif. This is a sail boat mostly show with power boats added on. Ranger Tugs of course was there, they did not have a 27 nor any Cutwaters on site. Good showing by vendors and more people than last year. The tug display was fairly busy but the sales people were focused on the sailing side of their boats, afterall the America's Cup race is here later in the year and the cup was on display. I water tested a Torqeedo motor and was inpressed, bought a new life jacket for the admiral. Great weather!
The Ultra anchor demo was set up and they tied selling us the over $1,000 anchor since they only make stainless, I'll stick with the Rocna I picked up the sale for $233. They also wanted over $330 for their anchor swival, ouch!
