The weekend came and went. A number of people stopped by Farallone Yacht sales and admired Karma as well as the other Tugs that Patty has in the line up. One gentleman and his wife actually came by both Saturday and Sunday and looked at Karma. Still no acceptable offer though.....

That only means one thing, it is not time to sell Karma. We have ordered our trailer from the factory. Maureen and I will drive to Monroe on the 28th to pick it up. We will head south to the Bay Area on Sunday. Monday we will load her up and get her ready for the trip North. She will be making a slight detour on the 10th of June to spend a week cruising around on Lake Shasta in Northern California. After that, it is off to Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island where we have secured a slip at Winslow Wharf Marina. We are excited to be bringing her back home to where she belongs.

Her first cruise once back in the PNW will be to Poulsbo for the 3rd of July Celebration. We will arrive on the 29th of June in order to secure a prime slip to catch all of the festivities! We will depart for Winslow Wharf on Monday the 4th.

She will head for Desolation at the end of August as well as spend numerous weekends out and about on the Puget sound throughout the summer months!

Anyone wishing to join us on either of these two trips or any weekend we are out, please do so! As always, you can follow Karma on her adventures by logging onto our Spot Messenger at:

With the new trailer, our cruising grounds have grown substantially. We now have the options to move her to where ever we want. Lake Powell, the Channel Islands, Catalina are all in mind for future destinations. For now though, its back to the PNW!

See you on the water!

Cool. We'll look forward to seeing the familiar Mako yellow tug coming out of Eagle Harbor!

Cheers

You may confuse Karma with Chiquita and the new Willie's Tug both in Anacortes. Willie and I took delivery last night and are currently at DES Moines till Friday.

Herb and Willie,
Congratulations on the delivery of your new R-27!
David and Maureen

Zuma is so excited.... looking forward to many nights on the hook enjoying hors d'oeuvres and a bottle of vino!

Oh, so sorry....... I gave up the vino...... NOT!

WOOHOO!!!
We tried to figure out how we could come to Poulsbo too, but it just doesn't work because the 4th is not a holiday for us!!! We will catch up with you for sure!!

We celebrate the 4th... and the 5th... and the 6th. In fact, today is May 19th, and I intend to celebrate it, 'cause it only comes around once a year!

Welcome back to the Puget Sound. Let us know when you head into Elliott Bay.

Cheers

David and Maureen: We're so glad to have you back in the PNW. We plan on doing the Desolation Sound cruise that Jeff has been organizing. See you there presuambly.

BTW -- Edmonds Marina does allow divers so will be having my zincs replaced this coming Tue using The Double J Diving LLC 2-person outfit. Being a 'first customer' they give us a 20% discount and will also be scheduled to check our boat every 4 months for us. Gill and I will still cruise over to Amy's no matter. 😀

Whew......... what a ride we have been on. Left Casle Pines Colorado on Saturday morning at 5:00am. Drove through Northern Colorado, into Wyoming, took a left turn. Drove through Utah, Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and then Central Washington over to Seattle. After 21 hours on the road and 1400 miles, we arrived in Seattle at 1:00am. Up on Sunday at 7:00am and off to the Kent plant to pick up our new trailer. Departed the plant at 8:30am with our new trailer in tow headed south on 1-5. Made a stop at Lake Shasta in Northern California to check out ramp and parking situation. Lake is fuller than we have ever seen it! Great news for California. Finally rolled into the Alameda at 11:00pm last night. 2,300 miles and 35 and 1/2 hours and we are in Alameda. Today we load Karma on her trailer. Next week, it is north to Lake Shasta!

After spending a week on the Lake we will pull Karma out of the water on Friday morning and make the drive to the PNW. We will launch her at Alki Point and then motor over to Bell Harbor for Friday night. Saturday, it is off to our new slip in Wilslow Wharf Marina! It will be great to be back in the PNW!

Yea Yea!! We look forward to seeing you guys.

Dave and Maureen - sorry about being so late on the uptake (we obviously don't visit the tugnuts site as often as we should). Are you two still staying in Eagle Harbor? If so we would love to get together with you. Karen and I are down the harbor just a little way, around the corner. Tutta Bella is tied up at our dock.

Mark and Karen,
I am currently sitting on Karma enjoying a nice glass of wine. I will be here through Wednesday afternoon when I will head up over to Poulsbo for the weekend.

Stop in if you are in the area (A-54). That goes for any "Tugnutter" in the area!

David
