Lesson learned, copy the number from your spare Yamaha key for use if lost.
The number on the primary key is covered by a plastic cap.

I only got one set of keys when I bought my R25sc. I took them to the local locksmith here in Whitehorse and he made copies of both the door and ignition keys from blanks he had right there in stock. I would suggest trying another locksmith; if ours here in Whitehorse had the blanks, they couldn't be too rare.

It’s a Yamaha OB key, with a weird sort of handle on it that won’t fit into a regular key maker.
I’m trying Bolger locksmith tomorrow

A Yamaha dealer can probably supply you with a Yamaha key.

Door key blanks should be available at Ranger Tug, Parts dept.
