Hi all
The Kisae inverter in my R29 gave the E05 error for low voltage showing 11volts. But my BMV-712 monitor shows 68 percent and 12.28 volts. We’ve been on the hook for 2days so low battery is possible but not usual for us. Thoughts on what to check? Thanks

Well, waited a bit and now all normal at 12.4! Still would appreciate any insights.

When you run the inverter, it draws a lot of current. That causes voltage drop. When the voltage gets around 11.8volts, the inverter will beep warning of low voltage. At 11.5 volts, it’ll shut itself off.

Agm batteries easily support giving up 6 amps with minimal village drop. The inverter will want 10 times that, resulting in voltage drop.

I used to run 3 agm batteries. At 55pct state of charge and above I could run the inverter to heat hot water, Below that, I could not. The batteries just could not provide the amps fast enough.

Once the inverter is turned off (the load goes away) the voltage rises back to where is was.. 12.2, 12.3, for example.

What SubMariner said. I had most of that explained and then saw his post.
