KISAE switch

I have a 2018 242 Cutwater, and my KISAE switch appears not to be working, as it will not turn green when switched on when out on the water. The batteries are charged due to being on shore power when docked, but I'm concerned about a longer trip, whether the Inverter will be working.....any suggestions?
 
On my 2019 R27, there is an additional dedicated rotary switch that must be turned on before the KISAE button is pressed. This rotary switch is different from the engine/parallel/house rotary switches (mine is located in the port lazzarette). Perhaps your boat is wired similarly
