Subject: Kudos to King Marine Canvas
My R-21EC was ordered to have the King Marine Canvas "Angler top edition + a matching Full enclosure" in Charcoal Tweed to match the hull's color of Ranger Gray. It turned out to be a very nice design and the Charcoal Tweed was an excellent choice IMO.
After getting the boat home on its trailer and parked in my driveway the next few days there was a lot of rain. I noticed that the top adjacent to the cabin on the starboard side was not as taught/tight like for the port side. Because of this the rain caused a nasty looking puddle on the top on the starboard side which from my reckoning amounted to almost a gallon of water. It did not leak through as the Sunbrella canvas material is waterproofed. However, having this puddle of water bothered me because it told me the fabric tightness was not symmetric.
To cut a long story short, King Marine came by my house today and fixed the issue by moving one or two of the snaps to tighten up the top where the rain was puddling. Now all I have to wait for is SOME RAIN... 😱 :lol: to be sure the issue is resolved.
So kudos to King Marine for taking the time to come to my home for doing this after service/sale event. 😀
