KVH Box Location

I have a 2019 R31-S and a KVH antenna, but cannot find the box, or receiver to allow satellite reception. Does the R-31 come with a KVH receiver box and where can I find it?

Are you absolutely sure there is a satellite dish under the KVH done? Have you taken the cover off and looked at it?
In almost all boats FM built, there is a simple over the air tv antenna inside the KVH dome. The coax from that over the air tv antenna feeds directly into the tv. No satellite dish, no satellite receiver just a plane tv antenna.
Your boat could be the rare exception if the original owner did a custom upgrade but I don’t think that’s likely.

Thanks - You are 100% correct. Under the dome, there is just an antenna, not satellite gear. I purchased this 2019 R-31 in March and have been fortunate enough to put over 1,000 NM under the keel running from Baltimore to Florida. I am very impressed that FM took no obvious shortcuts and included Lots of items I would have considered extra. I have installed a water accumulator, which was easy and greatly improved life on the boat, and AIS transmitter for running offshore when the ICW is awkward. However, I really expected satellite gear under the dome. It makes little difference as we have no "need" for TV.
