Anyone have any experience with the LasDrop Gen 2 Dripless Shaft Seal. Seems to be a better design then the PSS system. I wonder at the higher RPM's if a dripless system such as this would induce less parasitic drag on the Shaft and lead to more efficient operation. Also, won't the traditional stuffing boxes in use on the tugs / cutwaters eventually cause shaft wear? Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks.
