Last dumb question ( I hope) on 2020 R27LE "Blue Koolair pump in bilge

In the bilge their is a koolair pump next to the rear bilge pump. It has a blue cover. If the boat has reverse cycle air/heat why is their another pump for air conditioning ?
It is connected to a thru haul seacock. Does it run off the inverter when cruising or at anchor?

Your air conditioner uses seawater to remove the heat from the refrigerant. When you turn on the air conditioner you'll see water come out the side of the boat because of that pump. It's powered by whatever powers the air conditioner, so shore power at the dock or the inverter if that's what you're using underway.
