Real basic question from a noob:
How do I switch from red lights to white in the cabin overheads? We just got our Ranger Tug 25 a couple weeks ago and learning all the features but can't find this info anywhere.

On my R-23, there is a switch on the helm for chart lights that makes the overheads red (preserving your night vision while providing some illumination).

On my R25 there is a switch for the cabin lights by the aft door and also on the dash. I also have a breaker labeled "galley" or "dining" (not sure which) that turn on two more overhead white lights. There is a breaker switch labeled "chart lights" that is for a separate circuit and for different red lights. They are independent of each other. I would keep the red " chart lights" for running after dark to protect night vision and reduce reflections.

Can't answer specifically but I can recommend trying every switch and labelling them with a label maker .. we also replaced a couple of switches with etched / colored covers so they stood out better (e.g. for the horn). Such as these, just one source: https://www.pacergroup.net/electrical-p ... ch-covers/

THANK YOU! Found it- the switch was by the cabin door. I knew it was something simple- the switch was right there in plain sight!
