I'm still troubleshooting an issue with my Lewmar bow thruster on my Ranger R23. I had a diver clean my boat recently and he removed about a 14" piece of line off of the prop. He spun the prop and it had resistance, it didn't spin freely, indicating that the shear pin is not sheared. When I hit the bow thruster switch at the helm I can hear the solenoid click but the motor does not spin. If the shear pin was broken and I had power to the motor I should hear the motor spinning. There's a 20 amp fuse off of the battery and it's good. I replaced it just for the heck of it. The battery is good from a voltage perspective. I haven't checked the current output yet. Is there anything else between the battery, fuse, and bow thruster motor that would prevent it from working? Perhaps a relay switch? I don't see a relay switch on the electrical diagram for the boat. I would think that if the 14" piece of line on the prop was an issue that that 20 amp fuse would have blown. Many thanks in advance to any suggestions.
