I have a 2007 Ranger 25 Classic. There are 2 switches on the right as you enter the cabin. The one opposites the center cabin lights. What does the other operate? The hot and the load wires have been removed from the switch and taped off. The ground is still connected to the switch. Connecting the two taped wires has no effect. Question is what does this switch operate?

I have a 2013 25SC, the one switch operates the centre cabin lights, the other operates the light under the cockpit cover. The light switches on mine are on the port side. Hope this helps,

Sean

Same here. I have a 2016 27 rt and the second switch operates the small cockpit cover light.

Thanks but my switches are on the starboard side, and I have no overhead cockpit light. I need someone with an older boat.
