Anyone tried to find and/or drill out limber holes in a 2012 R29? I am told the holes are, or should be there. The holes get plugged sometimes and may need to be drilled out. If the holes are there on my boat I can’t find them.
Anyone with experience/ guidance with this problem?

I have a 2016 25SC but I imagine construction would be similar. I would be cautious to drill anything down there. You don't want to drill through glass and expose wood or anything that can lead to rot and moisture down the road. On my boat I found a stiff heavy gauge wire would do the trick. The first time I did have to tap on the wire with a small hammer in places to get through. I just kept working it back and forth. I think there are small pvc tubes run in places. When the boat was built they got covered in glass and other junk. I still have a couple areas that do not drain. I just try to make sure I don't let water in there. If you look close the weep holes should be in the obvious places.

I'm posting a photo of what and where the limber holes are. This is a C28 but the Ranger locations are similar.

This is a R29 newer hull design. You can also see the Limber holes locations in this photo.

This should give you an idea of what you are looking for. The limber holes are PVC pipe. They normally are plugged when the boat is built with construction debris. Sometimes they are cleared by the factory but many times not. I used a old teleflex shift cable casing to rod out my Limber holes. This was a once a year check to make sure they where clear.

I've seen them on my 2011 R29 so I know they are there. The easiest to spot are the ones that drain the stern pockets where the thruster and transducer are. They can be seen from inside the engine compartment. I've done some diving behind the fridge and seen them there as well. I know there are a series of limber holes that run from the shower sump to the bilge because when my float failed, water overfilled the sump and filled the bilge.
