Any projects planned before the start of next season?

Besides all the recurring annual maintenance items it’s a typical off-season project list for me:
Replace brake pads on trailer
Replace air horn
Install black water tank level sensor
Replace aft cockpit bilge pump
Remove undersized screws and replace with bolts for port side “Admiral’s” seat base (opposite helm)
Reupholster three mouse fur covered panels in v-berth with perforated white marine vinyl
Rebuild Magma propane grill with all new internal parts
Replace scupper through hull fitting on port side transom
Design, build and install base for 5 pound steel propane tank used for Magma grill

✅ bi-fold head door mod
✅ replace garboard drain in engine pod
-hose quick connect for washdown
-replace broken VHF antenna
-replace bow roller
-new anchor and rode
-cave shelf
-MPPT solar controller
-bbq rail mount
-crab pot puller install

Now that I put it all out here, I am on the hook for getting it all done.

I am planning on a few things which I hope wont be to hard.

mount fans in cabin and birth
install a cell signal booster
install auto trim tab module
install dinghy motor lift
create templates for raptor decking in a few areas not included in the kit
Figure out what the dash fan switch is suppose to do because nothing happens when flipped
install roof rack storage

Install battery monitor
Install crossbars for cargo box
New zincs
Install water maker
Install Kato outboard motor lift on swim platform
Repair dock scuffs on hull vinyl wrap

What am I working on this winter upgrading Channel Surfing?

Provide Internet for the boat! WFB (work from boat)
Install a Pepwave Mobility 42G high-gain LTE/WIFI/GPS antenna on the mast (replace the TV antenna).
As a 7 in 1 antenna, Connect the GPS antenna directly to the Vesper AIS.
Connect the 4 x LTE and 2 x WIFI antenna cables directly to the Pepwave Internet router.
Install a Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G LTE/WIFI router.

Yamaha F300 Auxiliary charging
Replace the engine to house battery bank ACR with the Yamaha F300 auxiliary charging cable.
(charging cable from Yamaha is backordered until the middle of December)
Connect the Skylla 70 Amp battery charger to also charge the engine battery.

Thruster Battery Bank DC to DC Charger
Replace the house to thruster battery bank ACR with a 12 volt DC to DC charger (30 amps).

v-Berth Storage
Build a shelf in the bow/v-berth for additional storage.

Garmin GPS 24XD NEMA2k (GPS receiver)
Install a Garmin GPS-24XD Nema2000 external GPS antenna/receiver.
(Completed this already. GPS error went from 9 foot down to 3foot).

Ceramic Coat the entire boat
(completed 2 weeks ago)

New Curtains
Install inside curtains for all windows, including the bow windows and over the stove.
New curtain fabric is thicker, doesn't let as much light in.

Take boat to marina in water so they can lift it and put on blocks to blast bottom coat which failed due to incorrect prep. (S.E Michigan)
Tell marina how displeased I am about scratches on blue hull from dirty lift straps.
Watch boat sit out in 30 degree weather and 1.5" rain because contractor did not show up to blast all old bottom paint off hull (not winterized)
Order large bottle of antacid and larger bottle of Chevas Regal.
See boat back in building not blasted.
See boat back outside not blasted.
Order more Chevas 🙁
See boat back inside blasted. No problems uncovered when all bottom paint removed. Sides rubbed out by marina.
Ordered Sterling Cabernet. 😀
Hope they can correctly apply new bottom paint.
Best, nothing else to fix, all service completed.
Gotta love boats!!

Add second garmin MFD

Solar didn't make the list? If I had it to do all over again, I'd do solar before upgrading the house bank.

Got some boat time in today (between tornado warnings!) and knocked a few off of my list already. Made some progress on the new bow roller and cave shelf as well, but need a few more bits and bobs to wrap those up. Might need to add to my list!

Solar is a possibility, but I want to save the rack space for a few other things. If I do solar, it will be flexible and mounted on the cockpit shade. Kinda want to actually see and touch the boat before I commit to solar. One of the things I am hoping to add to the rack is a starlink antenna. The mobile one doesn’t exist yet (like my boat) but I have the fixed version and I get 200 mbps down and 50 mbps up.

...
Install a Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G LTE/WIFI router.

I wanted to install Peplink as well as it is undoubtedly the best. I also do some work from the boat and need reliable connection. While doing research, ordered a temporary "fix" - Spitz GL-X750v2 from Amazon. I absolutely did not expect this little device to be that good and feature packed. While in port it gives me ~7mbps LTE (T-Mobile), considering lots of boats around, metal roof on the dock, and other obstacles in the marina, it's not bad, not great but not bad. I'm not sure that even Peplink with its speedfusion and bonding technologies can do much better in such harsh environment.
When I'm out of the slip or in the sound, the speed is 25-50mbps which is adequate for my needs. I have not had a single problem around San Juans or south PS with LTE connectivity, the only place that is completely dead is Pleasant Harbor. There is no LTE at all for any provider and WIFI is limited to their office. RE: WIFI - most marinas offer WIFI for a fee, I think for port of Everett it is also a paid service. Anyway, even though the Spitz router is dual-band WIFI I used it only a few times and only because this little gem comes with VPN client and server so I know I'm protected from WIFI eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks. Regardless, I use LTE exclusively not bothering with WIFI (why pay for it if I have data plan with T-Mobile which just works). I recently connected to the router a Govee WiFi Hygrometer Thermometer (from Amazon and no, I do not work for Amazon) which monitors the bilge/galley so I can see exact temp/humidity in the boat and react if needed. I also hooked a dual outlet WIFI smart plug to the router (sponsoring Bezos flight to space) and now can turn it remotely on which triggers small 600w oil heater (sponsoring Bezos again) to raise the temp just above freezing if needed.
So these are my winter projects done in November (router installed in May), more to come.
