Hello,

My new to me 2014 R27 Classic had some new solar and Lithium installed, 900AH of capacity with a couple new solar panels. Here's a Youtube Video of some of the process.

Took the boat on Lake Superior for its maiden voyage for 4 nights, no issues.

A few thoughts:

1. Never saw below 88% on the batteries, with running the inverter overnight (No AC). This charged right up with a couple of hours of running, solar kept everything topped off while on anchor, just solar would take longer, but still doable.
2. For spec purposes, I wanted to run two out of three systems at one time, AC, water heater, and microwave, believe I should be able to run all three, the AC and water heater were pulling about 3,500 watts when we tested.
3. Boat now lists to the port slightly, this is partially due to the Quattro installed on the port size and removal of old inverter on Starboard, I will get some steel shot bags over the winter to attach to where the old inverter, this should even the boat out.

In the summer I calculated the AC should be able to run for 8+ hours as the compressor kicks on and off, I see about 1,100 watts with the compressor on, when just the fan on and compressor is off, about 110 watts.

On a side note, installed Electric over Hydraulic brakes on the trailer, huge difference over surge. Can now do the "Tug bump" effectively when setting the boat on the trailer.

curious what the bill ended up being?
