Location and access of water heater in 2012 Cutwater 26

I have purchased a 2012 Cutwater 26 and have been having problems accessing and finding items in the boat.

On the owners manual it shows the hot water heater on the starboard side. I have been having a hard time finding it.

Is it hard to get to or find or am I just stupid and cant seem to find it?

Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of things are placed in hard places to get to and service.

Hello,

The tank should be in the starboard hatch all the way forward in the compartment. Hope this helps.

I don't seem to have a forward starboard hatch in the main compartment. There is a storage area on the starboard side under the operators seat but no other hatch that I can see forward in the compartment.

Do you have a picture of what it should look like.

Step into the cockpit on the starboard side. You are now standing on top of the water heater.

Sorry it took so long to get back. In the Starboard Side compartment is - Forward (Battery Charger/Inverter), on starboard side of compartment is the solar panel controller and aft is the Trim tabs box. On the engine side is the Inverter Battery Charger cut off switch. No water heater or any room for one.

To get to our fresh water pump I have to take the Refer out and or crawl through the quarter birth and remove the AC vent cover. Did not see water heater there.

Kevin - On our 26 foot 2012, the water heater is in the back, starboard side.
