Having the boat in a secure Marina that provides physical security with locked gates and security guards can go a long way to relieve you of any concerns IMO.

Thanks for the comments. I am sure I can figure something out. However, my query was directed to those who may have done this before and perhaps would like to share their experience.
Sometimes you are just not always in a guarded marina. Having been the target of theft before, while I was sleeping on my boat, I like to progressively avert that situation.
