Looking for a partnership in a Cutwater 28 around Seattle

Hey all, my name is Kevin and I'm looking to buy a used Cutwater 28. Hopefully 2014 or newer. I would like to split ownership 50/50. I used to be in a partnership with my airplane and it worked great. Prefer the boat to be in a marina in the general Seattle area - Tacoma to Edmonds but not a deal breaker. I was in an airplane partnership that also worked out well. However with a boat I see a few things that are a bit different than the plane. If the wives are involved they like to "nest" somehow they have to agree on decor etc. The second is you will cruise and be living on the boat. All personal supplies will have to be removed between cruises. Third will be where things are stored. Each party must put things back in their original spots. From personal experience we found if you change a spot that you store something you tend to go back to the old spot to look for it. Maybe that's age related. 😀

Kevin You might want to check out how to place a boat in a charter company. This would basically be renting your boat out! This would help defer the cost of maintenance and upkeep, as well as the tax right off and the extra income would help pay for the boat.
That said: Grandma said if it's worth doing, it's worth doing yourself!
