Hello. I need to update the course computer (2 connectors) with a Rector 40 unit so it's compatible with my new 8616 and GHC 50. I thought it would be located in the lower quarter berth but didn't find it there. The wiring from the GHC to the auto pilot module (4 connector) and pump goes along the starboard side of the boat. So is the CCU behind the refrigerator or the kitchen drawers?

Thank you.

Hi Bill, could you please clarify what you mean by course computer? Are you looking for the location of the reactor 40?

My boat has the older unit but I'm trying to replace the module that has the compass. It looks like this.
I can find the hydraulic pump and 4 connector box at the starboard stern, but I can't find this piece.

Should be mounted to the outboard wall at the foot area of the main helm. This can be accessed from the mid berth forward wall on the outboard side. The upper starboard side panel can be pulled out by hand to get access and if more room is needed you will have to take the entire forward wall in the mid berth down, which is held in with screws.

Can you mark on this image where it is? I'm having trouble understanding the exact location. It's a 2014 R29, hopefully all R29's had the unit in the same spot.
