Finally got around to poishing the aft rails and bimini supports, and wanting to listen to some tunes on the iPhone over the stereo, and the docks being deserted except for the crows I hooked up and could not get the rear starboard cockpit speaker to work.
Thanks to the tool kit suggestions on another thread, i was able to remove the speaker cover and unbolt the speaker from the mount and discovered that the female spade lug connectors had no pressure on the lug terminals and were held in by gravity only. The positive terminal had fallen off, maybe due to rough seas or just freeway speeds towing.
Anyway, was able to put a little crimp in the connectors and now they stay on.
Speaker works great now, and I can't help but thinking the crows were cawing in time to the music.
Gonna have to get a bird ball......
