Hi there, have had this issue the past 2 years. When running WOT sometimes I get an alarm from the Volvo penta, low oil level sensor. I’ve had the oil changed the end of last season and only put about 35 hours since the oil change. Got plenty of oil on the stick. Could it be a faulty sensor? Should I not be running WOT? It’s a 2021 Ranger Tug CB31.
Thanks

correction on the alarm, says Electrical fault, oil level sensor. I turned off the ignition button then on again to check something else and the code was no longer there. Same thing happened last year. Thanks

Hello,

You have a bad sensor, if your boat is still under warranty then you can have it changed. Look at Volvo's website and see what dealer is close to you.
