Mac took his last cruise today...

Our Scotty dog "Mac" passed this afternoon.. he was an old salt, aged 15 years. An excellent sea dog always excited to go on the boat. Many of you may remember him from the last Ranger Rendezvous, Lyman carted him to the green grass in a dock trolley.

Thank you Patrick, Gail, Maureen and David for your love of our Mac..

Lyman and Janeane,
We are so sorry to hear about Mac. Cruising the Gulf Islands and Desolation will not be the same without Mac. Our hearts go out to the both of you as well as Jessie and Taylor.

Let's not dwell on his passing but instead the many joys and happy memories he brought to those around him. He will be missed.

We're sorry to hear about Mac. JoAnn and I are glad we had the chance to meet him.

Fergus, Yvonne and I are so sad to hear of Mac's passing. We really got to enjoy Mac as we cruised together and his stoic Scot's stance on the boat and on the docks. We also know the important part that our dogs play in our lives and know that Mac was a full member of Zuma's crew. we will miss him. He was fortunate in his choice of masters. Allan

Lyman and Janeane,

The Messmers' are very sorry for your loss. Maisy and Gracie asked me to let you know that they "liked walking him". Jack said to say that he was "sorry" None of them could believe that Mac was 15. They all thought that was pretty amazing.

Janeane, Lyman, Jesse and Taylor and your extended family,

We are so very sorry to hear this news. We understand the important role that pets play in our family, and we considered Mac to be part of our family too. He will be missed. We are so happy to have had the chance to spend time with him this summer and especially at Bremerton.

Love

Gail and Patrick

My wife and I lost our Scottish Terror "Duncan" to cancer two years ago. He was our dog of a lifetime and we both miss him every day. We have another Scottie Conner that is doing his best to fill the void that was left by Duncans passing. These little dogs get under one's skin in a big way. Huge personailty, devotion to family and terrier tudes make living with one something that we would never trade for anything. We offer our condolences for your loss and hope that you find great memories to remember your Mac by each and every day.

Our furry family members are just that: family. Condolences from the Wild Blue crew - we certainly understand the hurt and loss. The good memories will live on, always.

Lyman & Janeane:

Gill and I are so sad to hear of your loss of Mac. After 15 years it must be heart wrenching and your thoughts have to be that you want him back.

We have just gone through losing our 14 year old Teddy, a Wire Hair Fox Terrier (WFT) last July 14. It was terribly difficult and his sister Chloé pines for him back also. This past Monday we brought home Jake. Jake is a WFT and at 13 weeks old is a delight -- but Chloé is a little miffed so far and I'm sure she will start to mother him soon. I will take Jake to our boat this weekend for an orientation class. 🙂

I'm sure Mac was a wonderful companion and will be missed terribly. We are so sorry to hear this news.

Here is our new WFT named Jake

Its very hard to lose our pets, they become a special part of the family almost like children. I do feel very sorry for you guys and hope the pain doesn't last long. We are close to losing Babe (our kitty) he is about 18 and we will have to deal with it when it happens.
LOVE
Bob and Nita
