Made the Plunge

Greeting Fellow Tugnuts,

We made the plunge last week and traded in our C-Dory 25 on a 2009 R-25 with the 150 Cummins. We have been looking at these vessels since they came out and while looking at them at the Anchorage boat show, we decided to buy the boat on display. We should get it the end of next week. Only making a couples of modifications prior to delivery, electrifying the head and installng my shrimp pot puller from our C-Dory.

We already have a number of modifications planned after we take delivery. We should hit the water in mid-April. Can't wait.

😀 congrats dave and becky , is there any chance you guys can make the rondivue in sept. having spent a lot of time on the c-dory site before the nuts was available, it would be fun to talk so someone who has owned both, coming down the inland passage would be a great shakedown cruise, what dealer did your buy the boat from, hull#? welcome aboard!!! steve and tina [we don't have a clue]

We have hull number 142 which we bought from Alaska Mining & Diving in Anchorage. We are looking forward comparing the R25 to the CD 25. We will miss our C Dory but I'm sure we'll adjust!

We would love to trailer to Haines and go south from there but it won't happen this year. We hope to do this in a year or 2, but as I still have to work for a few years, we won't havr e the time for awhike to go all the way to WA.

Congratulations on your purchase of #142! It is amazing, two years ago we bought #24! Now, two years later, 142 is sold.

What a great location to own such a great boat. Every time we are in Anchorage, we drive over to Whittier and watch everyone launch and head out to Prince William Sound. Be sure that you set up a photo album and post pictures for all of us to drool over.
