After many years of heating up my ham sandwich on the manifold of the truck I was driving and retirement I thought I would expand my culinary skills and impress my crew with a hot treat on thoes cold fishing adventures. Weither it be a egg-Mcmuffens, sticky buns, hot dogs or something more elaborate. Some great books on the subject is Diesel Dining and Manifold Desting. A few Manifold cookers are the Muffpot, the Hot-Dogger by Flat-O products and the Kemimoto food cooker and warmer. Basically a slow cooker and warmer using the exhaust of your diesel engine. Can't wait to try baked salmon! Just wondering if it will count as my daily limit if consumed prior to entering port.
Bonappetit. Bob

So excited, I have a big enough flat space on my D320 to go all Benihana on the guests.

Steve, Beer is kept or in a laundry bag tied to a cleat and in the water at a depth of about a foot. That will usually keep it at about 45 degrees on average. Bob

Bob, Great idea! I'll give it a try. I can't use the onboard fridge because my wife keeps putting vegetables in the beer crisper....
Cheers

Being a long time follower of Bobs excellent suggestion of " Beer in a bag over the side " I'd like to offer a couple of hints to 1st. timers :

1. Cans instead of bottles.

2. Don't forget to retrieve the bag before moving on.

3. If you forget # 2 then you'll understand hint # 1.
