Marinco Spot Light

I have a Marinco spotlight on my 2015 Cutwater 26. It has never worked. The remote on the helm does not light up, should it? I pulled the fuse on the light and replaced it, still nothing.

Has anyone experienced this? Perhaps I just need to replace it?

On my 2012 Ranger Tug, for the search light to function, two things must be done—

1) The navigation lights must be on

2) The “Search Light” switch on the DC power panel that must be selected on.

It’s possible that your light functions in a similar way. Also make sure that the bulb is good.
