I have a Mase 2.7 in my 2011 R27 and have found that when I press the stop button sometimes it shuts down immediately; then other times it takes a while, struggling to stop, like the cylinder is has a tiny bit of fuel, feebly firing, but at a slower rate until it finally stops.
Just curious, thinking that perhaps the fuel solenoid is not fully engage, hence a tiny bit of fuel is leaking, causing a weak firing, finally stopping because of lack of momentum, hence lack of compression, finally breaking the diesel cycle.
Has anyone had an issue with the shut of valve that is activated by the solenoid? I going to check for corrosion and that I have a full throw of the solenoid travel, and no sticky shut off valve.
I have about 600 hours on the Mase 2.7. Are hours a factor?
