Mast for bow rail.

I tried a clamp on flag holder for the bow rail and it was simply small by a fraction of an inch. This is due to the bend in the rail I think. As far as a I know all models have the same style of rail as my R-21. I was wondering what types of holders have been tried and have worked.

I made mine from a piece of emt tubing cut in half lenghtwise and welded to a plate and then four hose clamps to hold it in place. Hard to describe but it did the job for a antenna mount and have modified it several times. Took a lot of fitting and killed most of a Saturday I remember. I also had problems with paint sticking. With the rail off it would be a simple job for someone with a welder. Good luck on this one
