Water damage to ceiling in the port side stern area coming from the rear back porch connection, probably the mast. We did ceiling removal water tests to isolate the problem. We also need new seals for all the Jim Black Hatches but that is not the primary water issue.
Questions:
- Have you ever removed the back porch? This is the platform where the radar sits.
- Do you know a good place to buy new seals for the Jim Black Hatches?
- If you have experienced this same issue and successfully remedied then please share your process.
- What other options are there for ceilings besides foam vinyl cover. Where might I find the material to replace this? Once the leak is isolated I will be replacing the wood and entire ceiling. We will probably also install hatch screen/privacy covers (ocean air) as we will be rebuilding the entire ceiling. We will add pictures as we work through the project.
