"We've got 5 seasons on our Tug so its hard to pick. October only boat in harbor at Mackinaw Island, August on Lake Michigan with all the toys, July at Isle Royal Nat Park after 60 mile Lake Superior crossing"

From the Schnack family:

"Here are a couple photos of our R-27, Five Buoys, in our favorite place, Catalina Island, off the coast of southern California. The first photo is in Avalon Harbor, with the iconic Casino in the background, and the second photo is in the quaint town of Two Harbors, at the other end of the island. Catalina is an awesome place to explore & relax on our Ranger Tug!"

"Impossible to name a single favorite location along the Inside Passage from Anacortes to Juneau and back. The known highlights like Tracy Arm, Ford’s Terror, Glacier Bay, and Pack Creek Bear Preserve all lived up to the hype. Among our many discoveries were some lesser known anchorages like Red Bluff Bay (note the reddish hue marking the entrance) on the Eastern coast of Baranof Island that offered the essence of Alaska: 360 degree views of snow-capped mountains, stunning waterfalls, and abundant wildlife."

and the Jackson Harbor Town Dock on Washington Island, Wisconsin. Northern Lake Michigan cruising at it’s finest!"

This month's contest has really blown us away! From Curt J.

"We have currently just arrived in Ketchikan Alaska from Whidbey Island Washington along with a boating buddy. This shot was taken of us on our R27 Classic, the Red Raven, leaving Dundas Island north of of Prince Rupert at 5am on our way across Dixon Entrance to Ketchikan. Magical place and time. Having a wonderful trip!"

We were really impressed with the destinations and incredible locations that everyone sent in this month. It's so fun to see the places that you've been exploring and enjoying, along with some of the iconic landmarks traveled to by Ranger Tug & Cutwater!

The results are in from our vote here at the factory and our winner is Tim A.

"The first photo is from Blackstone Bay, Prince William Sound, Alaska. This is one of our favorite playgrounds with abundant scenery and plenty of shrimp for our pots. This is only about an hours motor of our home port of Whittier."

The second photo is from Bettles Lagoon, Prince William Sound. It’s best to get in on the high tide. If you time it right this is a great spot to unwind with plenty of shoreline for exercising our 3 dogs.

We'll be sending Tim a pair of custom embroidered Ranger Tugs jackets asap! Thanks again to everyone who sent in a photo and keep an eye out for this month's photo contest, coming soon!

Dear Schnack family:

Your photo of Five Buoys off Catalina Island in Avalon Harbor with the iconic Casino in the background is very much like the closing scene in the 1966 Movie, Glass bottom boat. A fun, funny movie through and through with the last scene, a panoramic view of Avalon Harbor full of vessels of all different descriptions heading in all different directions.

Great Photos!
