Modification: Catch for behind-the-helm door

Another pesky little problem solved -- the access door behind the helm, over the starboard side of the berth in our boat sometimes pops open. I have added some electronics over the last two years, which led me to add another fuse box on that door, which made it prone to popping open because the weight strains the holding strength of the magnetic catch.

The fix was easy. I cut a short length of webbing and put a button snap in it. Then I used a screw-in stud for the snap on the door. I secured the strap above the door with a finish washer and a screw. Easy to snap and unsnap, and the door is now very securely held in place when closed. Here's a photo:
