On long distance trailering on heavily traveled roads ( I-95 ) is it OK to leave the outboard motor on the transom.
It has a heavy duty bolted directly to the transom, not a rail mount, and can be double locked with a cable and chain lock as well has the small lock through the mounting handles.?
Or should it be secured somehow inside on the cabin floor. ?
The trailer is being pulled by a professional trucker so I don't have a pickup bed to load stuff in.
Is it helpful to tape the cabinet drawers closed ?
