Anyone have or heard of a motorized antenna mount for the VHF antennas? In searching the web all I really come up with is this one. https://www.diamondantenna.net/k9000lrm.html. Do you think it could be used for VHF?

I've seen these on vehicles using vhf/uhf ham band antennas, and they seem to work pretty well.
But you'd need a marine vhf band antenna with a so-259 connector base, and you may not get the same gain as a 1/2 wave 8 ft marine vhf antenna.
And I don't know how the Diamond motor mount would react to salt water.

seems to me that it will eventually be a maintenance issue. Look at how your wiper arms get all crusted with salt etc.
