Hello

I am planning on mounting a TV antennae on the roof of my 2010 R25.

The logical location might be the mast itself, but I have the Radar there and above that I will be moving my spotlight up from the roof.

So, I'm looking at the roof area for a position for this 24" circular antennae and I do not have many choices.

The best area as I can determine is simply on top of that "smoke stack."

However, this is the position of the GPS antennae.

My question is this: Would the TV antennae positioned on the stack interfere with the GPS reception in any way?

I think you will ruin the lines of the boat with the antenna on top of the stack. Mine is in front of the stack and a bit lower. Reception seems to be fine with my glomex antenna

Hi Knotflying

You have a very good point.
I'll check out that spot forward of the funnel.
Thank you for the suggestion.

You say you bought a 24", that seems rather large. I have the 14" Glomex. Not sure if the 24" will fit between the horns and the stack, did you mean 14".

Yes, I thought it was rather large too.
I picked it up at west marine.
I think it was the only size available.
