We have succumbed to "two footitis" and decided, after protracted deliberations (just ask Andrew), to move up to the R-29CB. I feel like there is a reason we have two hands and a butt--"on the one hand, butt on the other hand"--to help make decisions balanced, informed, and excruciatingly difficult. Butt we are glad to be doing it.
Tugnacious, which has been a great boat, will go on the block (see announcement in ads section), along with the trailer and the ever-reliable 3/4 ton diesel truck we pull it with (we will ship the new boat back and forth from SF and the PNW instead of trailering). Our hope is to hand Tugnacious off to folks who want to jump immediately into boaterhoming and cruising.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Rendezvous with this new boat. The goal is to come up with a clever design for mounting kayaks on a boat with a command bridge. This, it turns out, is bit of a challenge. Suggestions welcome.
Now, to find a name for the new boat....
Cheers!
