Hello, I would like to introduce myself to the familly of Ranger tugs! I am Pat, a french Canadian who live in the vicinity of Quebec city. As you saw in my first post, we just bought a 2012 21 ec. My avatar on the forum is Two killicks, the reason why? Both my wife and I are retired from the Royal Canadian Navy and retired at the rank of killick (leading seaman). It's being 15 years since the tought of buying a boat was on my mind, but the last 3 years, I was more serious about it by doing all the rechearch. When I came up on the Ranger tugs website, I knew that I had found my boat, you convinced me guys! I did not get the chance to see or speak to the Ranger tugs staff nor the ranger tug dealer, because we bought from a broker on the used market, but the way that you guys describe the service provided by Ranger tugs, I have no worries. I hope that my english writting skills are not to bad :? I am looking forward to exchange information, post pictures, modifications done to our boat... Cheers!

Congratulations and welcome! :?

Bienvenue!

J'etais aussi marine militaire, et membre d'équipage d Montgolfiere.

Hello Pat,

Welcome to you and your wife! Tugnuts is a GREAT community for support of your Ranger Tug. The 21EC is a nice boat too which I'm sure you will enjoy. Don't worry about your english - it's FINE.

Pat: A BIG welcome to you. Your patience HAS been rewarded IMO. You will not find a more dedicated team of people for ensuring 'happy boating' than the Ranger Tug factory team... they are simply awesome. As evidence, there will be some 140 Ranger Tugs & Cutwater boats at the PNW Rendezvous at Roche Harbour later this month. Some come from far away to attend. This is an indication of how the boat owners value the Ranger Tug association.

Maybe one day you can trailer your boat over to the PNW.

Cheers... 🙂
