My Next Dumb Question - Where is the Y Valve on an R31

OK Gang,

Now that my A/C is running, I'm trying to find the Y Valve or whatever opens the pump out overboard.

I want to have my system pumped out and over the years I've noticed you need to turn the Y valve when having the tank pumped at a marina - - where is it on a R31 2014?

Hi Rob, The valve should be accessed through a small little hatch at the front of the mid-berth cabin. That is the way that it is on my 2016 R31. However, When pumping out at a Marina you should not need to open the valve as the black tank is vented on the starboard side of the boat. the only time I need to open the Y-valve is when discharging overboard with the macerator pump.

Thanks so much! Sounds good - seems I needed to throw that valve on my R25, I will leave it closed.
