Subject: My USCG Approved Inflatable Throwable PFD
I had purchased my USCG Approved Inflatable Throwable PFD some time ago and on my previous R27/OB could not make up my mind where to attach it to, and ended up just hanging it from one from the cockpit rail. This bugged me no end as it came with a special and nice container to keep it snug and out of the way when not needed.
Yesterday I found what I think is a good place for it on my new R29 CB. See shared photo album below. As I don't have the cockpit steering option the three large storage areas that form the starboard side step section where the cockpit steering would be is simply a huge benefit to me. It also allowed me to located my inflatable throwable device securely and accessible when needed. Maybe I need a 2nd one up on the Command Bridge. :roll:
