FYI...
The other day when visiting the R-25 factory in Kent to track our new R-25 assembly progress I found out that for the MY2010 R-25 an extra 4" of cushion seating is being provided for the forward looking navigator's seat. This will be much appreciated by my wife who will benefit from this elevated position. 😉 It will make for a better forward visibility experience. 🙂
BTW - when talking to several of the factory workers I had asked how easy was it to build up the boat and how many they had made. I was told the boat is very easily assembled and the one person I talked with said he had built up some 100 of the Ranger Tug boats -- that is some level of building experience. The workers were most friendly and very keen on discussing things with me and seemed thrilled with having a customer talk with them -- especially one who would be taking ownership of the boat they were building.
