I just passed the 16 hour mark on my new RT 21 . . . so now I've found a few things to ask about . . . first, to the right of the anchor on the bow is a black plug with four prongs in a square. I don't know what it's for. More interesting and challenging questions to come . . .

That is to plug in the wires from the trailer, if you got one, that will use the small led lights around the tug when on the trailer. Driving lights and brakes etc. My trailer has a gray wire at the winch post that plugs into this.

If you have too much time on your hands you can buy a three position switch and flashers as I did. Then buy the Seadog plug and socket (ask Richard in Ranger parts) along with a cigarette lighter plug. You will also need some trailer light wire; I got mine at Harbor Freight. After you have all your supplies you can wire them all up and use the turn signals while in the water.

Now if you have way too much time on your hands you could figure out how to hook the turn signals up the the bow thruster and report back.
