I am hoping that someone at Ranger Tugs can help me. I currently own a 2006 R 21EC, purchased in April 2006. She was the boat the factory had in the Seattle Boat Show in 2006 as a C-Ranger R 21EC. I am trying to sell her and I keep running into people that quote the NADA guides. First, there are not C-Rangers in NADA and there is not a R21 EC listed either for 2006 under Ranger Tug. NADA uses a R21 Mfg. price which is way off. I thought I was going to get this fixed by NADA but Erin Hull called Ranger Tug and someone there told her that you were not building the R21EC in 2006. I still have a copy of the flyer you used to introduce this boat in 2006 (mfg. price of $44,937 before options), so whoever told her that was misinformed. This does not help me to sell my boat for a fair price.
This is our second Fluid Motion boat. First being a Martini 18 purchased in 2001. My husband has always been impressed with your factory. My husband was in the fiberglass industry years ago and when we purchased the Martini, he went to the factory and got a tour and met John Livingston. In fact, when we purchased our R21 EC, we really wanted a red trimmed R 21EC. This was what had been in the Seattle Boat Show and my husband spoke to John Livingston and asked him to send us the red trimmed Boat Show boat. She has been a wonderful boat, but now is the time to sell her. Thank you for any help in this matter.
