Need advice on dinghy size for my new 2018 R-27

I bought a used Sea Eagle SR14 a bunch of years ago. My first boat. I had that inflatable for 23 years, then seams started to fail. After 2 years of gluing various seams and parts I decided it was time to call Sea Eagle. They were suprised a 25 year old boat was still in service. They said it'd be less expensive to buy a new hull, rather than rebuilding the old one, so I did.
The moral of this story is, you do not have to worry about getting the life out of your Sea Eagle. I would not have spent the $99 for the ext. warranty, you won't need it.
Do you think the 385 motor mount would work with a 12 lbs Cruise N Carry gas motor?

I have a WaterSnake SXW34/30 electric trolling motor (White water & Salt water motor) that I use with the SeaEagle's motor mount. It has 34 lb thrust and a 30" shaft length and powers the FastTrack with ease. I run this 12v WaterSnake with a 12v 50Ah Lithium battery that weighs only 11 lbs. I fit the battery easily behind the stern-most seat and tucked under the transom's splash guard. The whole setup is easy to do and I'm pleased with the WaterSnake.

I cannot comment on the 12 lb Cruise N Carry gas motor, but suspect it should be OK.

The Cruise n Carry is a 2.5HP that weights 12 lbs. I guess I should have been more clear. It'a a weed whacker with a prop...
