I thought it to be a good time to announce being the owner of a new 2016 R21-EC. Although we took delivery of the boat a number of weeks ago, we just recently we got the boat back from having an enclosure made.

I am fortunate to live in Kent Washington near the Ranger Tug factory and was able to stop in from time to time and observe the assembly of the boat. Everyone at the factory was friendly and accommodating with my visits. Special thanks to Andrew showing me around and explaining the steps of the build process. Thanks to Kenny for taking me out on my training day.

I posted a few pictures in the photo album showing the R21EC parked in it's spot along the side of our house.

You'll notice the full enclosure which was made by Dave at King Marine Canvas. Dave did a great job with the design and making of the enclosure. The enclosure is made to fold forward, allowing room for salmon fishing using down riggers. Dave is also making a storage cover for when the boat is trailered in the yard.

Also, thanks to the members of Tugnuts which have made so many good informative postings. The comments and experiences you share greatly help a new Ranger Tug owner feel confident in the decision to own one.

This Saturday, my wife and I will be taking a New Years cruise on Lake Washington. I should have a few more pictures to share after the outing.

Happy New Year!

Bob

Congrats and HNY!

Welcome Bob! And you will LOVE the 21EC - great little boats.

Hi Bob- Congrats!! Will you be coming to the Rendezvous this September? It is great fun and you learn a ton from the "old salts" that have had the tugs for a while now!
Hope you can make it,
Jeff and Ela

Thank you Dave, Jeff and Ela for the welcome.
We are very excited to start using our boat. Wishing the down pours would let up. As for the September Rendezvous, sounds like a fun time, we'll have to see how our summer outings go before deciding.
Hope to see you sometime,
Bob

Hi Bob, congrats on the new tug, one more of us on the pond... 😛

Congrats Bob! Photos look great and the modifications will be perfect for how you plan to use the boat. Thank you for the compliments but, most of all, your business!

See you on the water!
